Digital Project Manager

The Digital Project Manager manages the development and delivery of digital projects from initial design through delivery. This person is responsible for day to day activities that result in project delivery on budget, on spec and on time, while achieving the highest client satisfaction. The PM is always looking for innovative and pioneering creative and production methods and is adept at finding solutions to technical challenges and delivering them on time & on budget.

essential functions

  • Provide end to end project management on concurrent, multiple projects in a fast paced environment
  • Create, maintain and contribute to client and project status reports
  • Develops and manages interactive project specifications, statements of work, and project plans from inception through to completion
  • Identifies and communicates risk and develops risk mitigation plans
  • Develop support documentation including risk logs and requirement specifications
  • Encourage and facilitate strong project communication with your teams using collaboration tools, in person meetings, and regular check-ins
  • Provide a strong understanding of technical details to accurately report project status dependencies, risks, and daily development activities
  • Lead internal status meetings, reviews and approvals, accurately documenting meeting notes and assigning next steps
  • Work within existing process yet always seeking new, more efficient ways of working
  • Able to develop quality assurance test plans and conduct thorough quality assurance testing (functional, creative, cross-browser, multi-device) either in conjunction with a QA lead or independently
  • This is primarily an internal position, however the PM may also participate in client meetings or manage the client relationship during specific points in projects or for some ongoing or maintenance type work
  • Familiarity with Content Management Systems (WordPress, Drupal), Jira, Basecamp, as well as a variety project management/bug tracking/collaboration tools
  • Be proactive and vocal in identifying and communicating risks to Director, Technology, Program and/or Brand Managers
  • Manages end-to-end development process, including implementation of tracking analytics
  • Responsible for ensuring final product meets defined requirements
  • Releases final online advertising files to Media
  • Maintains comprehensive documentation and archives for project

qualifications

education

  • Bachelor’s degree

experience

  • 3+ years experience in an interactive/digital agency project management role
  • Has worked closely with a development team and is comfortable managing the technical aspects of projects
