Advisor Marketing Consultant

Do you have a deep interest in the financial services industry—and a passion to learn more? Are you well versed in—and a daily user of—social media? Is your writing strong and polished? Our Advisor Marketing group is looking for an enthusiastic self-starter to help our field force of financial advisors grow their business. A drive to provide indispensable customer service is a must.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing guidance to advisors on marketing best practices
  • Guiding our community of advisors in using the company’s marketing resources to complement their marketing strategy, their brand, and their communication objectives
  • Consulting with advisors and their staff in order to create effective marketing programs that meet their objectives and provide clear direction to creative teams
    • Writing comprehensive creative briefs that inform and guide the work of creative writers and designers
    • Managing advisor expectations and communicating progress
  • Actively managing marketing projects and programs to completion
  • Writing content for advisor-oriented publications and blogs on marketing topics of interest to advisors
  • Staying abreast of advisor and industry trends, providing suggestions for new material and programs, and anticipating advisor needs
  • Assisting in advisor recruitment activities and supporting the marketing needs for onboarding new advisors

Qualifications:

  • College degree
  • 5+ years of marketing experience, preferably at a financial services company, working with financial advisors, and/or at an advertising agency on a financial services client account
  • Strong knowledge or experience in financial services businesses, account management, and marketing strategy
  • Knowledge of creative processes or familiarity with working with creative teams. Has written succinct, compelling creative briefs
  • Knowledge of social media platforms and tactics
  • Project management experience
  • Comfort with addressing and managing expectations
  • Impeccable organization and attention to detail
  • Great interpersonal skills; ability to maintain an upbeat, can-do attitude
  • Local to the Boston area only; no relocation
